I suppose one good way to get some press for your upcoming project is to trash a fellow artist.  This is the case with KISS frontman Gene Simmons.  While promoting his bands upcoming tour with Motley Crue, Simmons commenced to SLAM singers Rihanna and Madonna!

During a Kiss press conference yesterday, promoting the band's new tour with Motley Crue, the frontman claimed that only is the Rude Boy star 'bulls***', but everyone else whose name ends with A. He said: 'We’re sick and tired of girls getting up there with dancers and karaoke tapes in back of them. No fake bulls***.

He told Billboard: 'No disrespect to Rihanna, she’s a great singer, but we’re in a slump for some s*** that has some personality and appeal beyond a bunch of pop stuff that’s floating around out there.
' I don’t think I can bear watching another f***ing award show that is just a little bit better than American Idol.
'It’s f***ing pathetic to watch people go out and f***ing karaoke with a bunch of lights and video.
'It’s all completely watered down.'
He told TMZ that he was unhappy with Madonna performing at the Super Bowl 2012 Halftime Show.
Implying she can't sing live, he ranted: 'I love all karaoke singers, I love all the girl singers who get up and sing with tapes... shame on you! By the way, Madonna's terrific... I hate the tapes.'
