The famous Spider-Man outfit has been enhanced with dark shades of blue and red and it is covered in a shiny black mesh material.
The red and blue suit clings to the actor's body revealing his V-shape body, defined pectorals, and rounded shoulders.
Ready for action: Spidey perches with his hands in the famous position, prepared to shoot out webbing from his wrists
Garfield has decided to do all his own stunts in the film so the action sequences will be much more realistic and contain less CGI, although it has been shot partly in 3D.
The amazing Andrew: The British actor did his own stunts while shooting The Amazing Spider-Man in Los Angeles
The film's director, Marc Webb, has spoken about how the 3D effects of the film will make Garfield's spider skills all the more authentic.
'There's an experiential component to 3D that's really fantastic and we're experimenting with generating that point of view so you feel how Spider-Man feels when he's jumping over these buildings,' Webb told TotalFilm.
He added: 'We made a conscious effort to do those effects practically and we had an incredible stunt team.
'We built this whole rig - hundreds of feet long - in Harlem, and we actually swung a man through traffic down the street.'
