Tennis star and now fashion designer, Venus Williams is set to relaunch her clothing line 'EleVen'.  The clothing line went on hiatus for 4 years after retailer Steve & Barry's went bankrupt.  Williams took the four year break to hone her craft and come up with new and interesting designs for the relaunch. The new colour-filled athletic range, unveiled for the first time yesterday, features a form-fitting dress, tops, bottoms and crop-top style bras. Venus says that she was inspired by her love for ‘art and watercolor’, and has incorporated her own original prints into the Spring 2012 collection.
 
She has also added ‘unexpected extras’ into her designs, such as a small rose-gold metal charm which dangles from a selection of camisoles and tanks. Venus is set to showcase an ensemble from her line in Miami this week when she competes in the Sony Ericsson Open.

The young star was asked if her younger sister, Serena would be playing in her new line.

‘No, she’s got to wear Nike,’ she told journalists.

EleVen by Venus Williams will soon be available at department and speciality stores throughout the States.
